Copyright notices

If work of yours appears on Monkey Inspo without your permission, tell us by email and we act quickly. The address and the process are the ones in our terms.

What to include

Email hello@monkeyinspo.com with: the work you hold rights to, where it appears on this site (the piece’s address is best), and how we can reach you. That is enough for us to act on.

What happens next

If we take a piece down, it comes off the public site: its page says not found, it leaves the grid, search and profiles, and a Monkey Pick badge on it stops loading. The work itself is not deleted, and its creator can still see it and its state in their own settings. We keep a record of the notice and of what we did about it, so that a question years later has an answer.

If your work was removed

If something you uploaded came down over a copyright notice and you believe that was a mistake, reply the same way: say which piece, and why the claim is wrong. A person reads it.

Here is what happens next. We send a copy of what you write to the person who complained, because they are entitled to see it. Twelve weekdays after your counter-notice reaches us, and once that copy has gone, the work goes back up, unless they tell us in the meantime that they have filed a court action to stop you. We tell you the date.
