About Monkey Inspo

Monkey Inspo is a site where creators upload their own work for other creators to find. One idea runs through all of it: people choose what you see here, not a model.

The Grid

The Grid is what creators have uploaded. We moderate it: work that doesn’t belong comes down, and a new creator’s first pieces are reviewed by a person before they appear. Categories aren’t fixed either. When enough work carries a tag, an editor can make it a category, so the shape of the site follows what people are actually making.

Monkey Picks

A Monkey Pick is a crown an editor puts on a single piece. Picks are rare, and every one shows how it reached the editor. We don’t take a Pick back. The one exception is fraud, and the reason is recorded. A creator can take their work down, and if they do, the piece goes and the award stays theirs.

What we don’t do

Nothing you do here is turned into a profile that decides what you see. Page views are counted without knowing who you are. If you are signed in we keep a record of what you searched for and which pieces you opened, for 90 days, so we can see what people are looking for; we do not sell it, we do not share it, and it does not change what the site shows you. Your Following feed is built from the creators and the moodboards you chose to follow, and nothing else. The privacy policy spells all of it out.

Money does not buy a crown. Everything on the site is organic unless it says Promoted or Sponsored. In Shops, creators link to their own store and we take nothing from the sale; where a listing goes to a shop like Amazon instead, it is an affiliate link, it says so beside the button, and we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.
